Week 05: Art Space Concepts

Art Space concepts

I have broken the artist concepts down into two words to start creating their spaces and overall create one architectural piece that combine their working orders and potentially attend to other artists. This space is to be versatile and non static. The artists I have chosen are from either ends of the spectrum of experimental art so I believe this will help create a space that can evolve for all artists in all forms.

Arnout

The concepts defined this conceptual design in which i have tried to incorporate these themes to create an initial outer shell which the architecture will evolve from.

The section incorporates - voids, light wells, manipulated planes contrasting horizontal and vertical planes, levels resulting from cut/fill of the spaces, dark spaces, selected illumination spaces, manipulated views. The chutes can interact with the coal loader
